Debriefing was awesome

Hi guys
Yesterday was my debriefing day and I really really enjoyed it. Every was really friendly and didn't label themselves as separate group. Every one interacted with everyone and talked with every one. I really found myself in a different planet.
I find it very difficult to interact with other people because when I was younger I had the misfortune of being bullied which made me really timid. When I went to the debriefing I didn't expected that everyone would be so nice and so open minded that I was slightly shocked at first.
As the day went on I felt more confident in approaching people for a conversation.

The day was pretty much about the trip. they told the rotary district that we would be going to and What paper work we would need to fill out. as well as the process for going checking in for a flight and the amount of luggage we would need. They also told us the limit weight for our bags.

Ther next debrifing is in december so unitl then.

Hello

Hello everybody
This is my first post. obviously.
I started a blog cause I am going to an exchange for year and I have decided to write a blog about my time away. (the title explains it)

The first part of my adventure started when I had the district interview. The interview would decide whether I would go or not. I was really nervous because they would also interview my parents and counselors. (My counselors where Rotarian's from the rotary club that is sponsoring me)
My Rotary District Interview - Questions
The questions that they asked me where based on my personality and what I had written in my application.
The first part of the interview were questions about myself and my relationship between my parents and me.
The types of qyestions were:
Whta is the relationship between you and your parents?
Do you have any siblings? What is your relationship with them?
Do you have any pets?
What do feel about yourself?
If you were to gain weight will you starve yourself?

That sort of quetions.
The second part is more like how well you will deal in a situation like washing dishes or being invited to a party.

My advice: don't go crazy and start studing the history of Rotary or Australia because they are not going to ask you questions about that. (I did that, it doesn't help the nerves)
I know heaps of people tell you to be yourself but it does help becuase they only ask about you.

Well that is me for now. I have yet to go to my debfriefing day. (this day they will tell me where in Switzerland I am going. Apart from other stuff)
